Really a great treadmill. It is so sturdy and the running bed can't be beat. I weigh ALOT (250 lbs) and running at full speed the machine feels solid and safe. Walkers may not need such a comfortable device, but if you plan on doing any running at all... this treadmill is tough to beat - it even has a fan!

The Treadmill is great. It is large (commercial size and quailty, which is why we bought it), so a large room is needed for it use. The only draw back is the set-up. It is easy to put together, once you have it in the area where you want to set it up. But, it is very heavy (the base) and difficult to move, due to its length. Other than that, once we got it put together, it has been excellent. I would and have recommended this treadmill to friends.

Two issues: (i) the heart rate monitor works about one in ten tries and (ii) the handle for lifting up the unit to store it does not work.

I am extremely impressed with this treadmill. It is as sturdy or sturdier than the treadmills at the health club, at physical therapy or at cardiac rehab; and those all cost $3000 or more. Assembling the treadmill took less than an hour and there is only one step where you need someone else's help. In contrast, my Schwinn recumbant bike took 6 solid hours to put together with numerous parts, unclear and incorrect directions, and a lot of confusion. The controls on the treadmill are good, not great but most treadmills have compromises. I have no problem in the slightest getting and maintaining the precise speed and elevation I want. The only real issue is that the treadmill arrives in one 250 lb. box that is 8' x 3' x 18" (very enormous). Be prepared to figure out how you are going to get it to your destination especially if it has to go down stairs or anything like that. One small thing to consider is that the track of this treadmill is around 8 inches off the ground and I am a fair amount closer to my basement ceiling than I was with my old treadmill - it is not a big deal but something to consider if you are tall and have a low ceiling.

Use the treadmill 3 days a week and walk 8 to 10 miles . I love this treadmill, I have been on a treadmill for 20 yrs. What an awesome machine. I own bowflex weight machine and the results are all positive. There products cannot be beat. I love the features and the power. You glide not bounce on this treadmill. The only t2 things I would change, is to position the fan where it will actually blow on you. And number two to make the holders on the base to be larger. Can't hold a CdD player, for example. Thanks

I've been using this while my two baby boys nap. It's great for new mothers who have a hard time getting out to exercise. It's easy to use and quiet and I'm getting the results I'd hoped for.

Service & Delivery comments:

Receiving the product was difficult. It weighs almost 300lbs so getting up the stairs and inside was a task. Thankfully we run our business from home and my husband happened to be home. He unloaded it off the back of the truck with his forklift and put it on the deck. If you can't pay the extra for the silver service and setup you should certainly plan ahead for extra manpower.

This treadmill is very amateurish. The various work-out programs are not very useful and are totally inflexible. Heart monitor does not work. I even got the company to send me an entirely need head assembly, and the new one did not work either. Internal calculators fail to give even the most rudimentary info after a workout. Construction is rather flimsy and would support only fast walking. Incline control is good, however, and allows a vigorous fast walking work-out. The unit looks good and does fold up, but I do not think the fold-up feature will save anyone any space.

Beware - this product weights 250 pounds in the box and unless you get specific shipment, they will leave it in your driveway. I had quite the struggle to get this in my house (very large box too). If I had to do this again, I would have paid extra to get this delivered into my house. Once inside, though, setup wasn't bad.

I shopped around to buy the best treadmill I could find that could match the perfomance of the Commercial one's I use at the gyms. To no avail I could not find one they all laged evertime my foot came down as I was running. So I went with the Bowflex without being able to try it out because of their reputation. To my suprise it performs just like the one's at the gym. Strong Sturdy and no lag. If you want Commercial performance at a Personal price buy this one.

One MINOR complaint is that the information displays should be customizable so that if I want heartrate and pace, I don't have to find a screen with heartrate, then page through to find pace.

I live 1/2 hour from any gym and could no longer afford the hour long round-trip drive to excercise after a long day at work. I love my Bowflex series 7 treadmill. It was delivered right to my door and easy to assemble and move. I was really apprehensive about a 300lb treadmill and moving it, once it was assembled but it couldn't be easier. The only drawback is the width since I don't believe it will fit through a regular size doorway. So best to assemble it where you will use it.I'm a simple user. I walk and run and create my own personal program. I haven't tried the pre-programmed routines. It's quiet enough to hear the TV, folds and unfolds easily. I would recommend this product without reservation.

The delivery was very quick and prompt. I ordered it on Thursday night and had it in my home and set up by the following Wednesday. I emailed customer service on Monday to ask about the status of my order. Within a few hours I received a call from a very friendly and courteous rep who answered all my questions and told me exactly when I would receive a call from the shipping company to arrange for delivery. Everything was prompt and went according to schedule. I was extremely impressed with the whole process. Great to run on. And that is why I rate it a 4 out of 5 The control panel is not user friendly.You cannot edit the time program once you have chosen it. (Elevation & speed are the only things that can be edited.)The screen is also difficult to read. Buttons are hard to operate & in wierd locations.

I chose this one because I was not interested in disposable electronics but couldn't spend top dollar. It seems to be quite sturdy, and plan on it lasting for many years.
